Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. When she was five, she moved from London to Oxfordshire to attend The Dragon School. Emma decided to be an actor when she was six. Through the years she was enrolled in the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. She learned to sing dance, acting and singing. At the age of 10, she had appeared and played as the main character in several Stagecoach shows and school productions. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000), the movie version to J.K. Rowlings bestselling novel was first cast for the first time in 1999. Agents for casting found Emma by way of her Oxford theatre teacher. After eight auditions consistently, the producer David Heyman told Emma and other applicants Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint that they had been cast as the three lead characters Hermione Granger Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. Emma's debut on screen came with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone's premiere in the year 2001. The movie broke all records on opening day and weekend revenues, and was the most-recorded 2001 movie. Critics praised the film and the performances of the three leading actors of the young generation. The Daily Telegraph, a popular British publication, has praised Emma for her performance. Emma later won five awards to honor her role in the film.
